An Update On Delavo

A few days back I mentioned here the fact that John Delavera’s system failed me when I tried to sign up for the Delavo ecommerce script launch.  Here’s what happened: I simply couldn’t sign up initially and when I finally managed to do it I never received the email with the link to confirm my account. As a consequence, I missed the opportunity of downloading the software.

In the meantime, while visiting the Warrior Forum, I’ve found a hot thread about Delavo that somehow confirmed that not everything on the launch went the way it should. If you’d like to read more about it click here. (opens a new window)

Also, due to “requests from JV partners and also by users that missed the DELAVO give-away”, John decided to re-open his free offer for 48 hours, from Saturday 30th May to Monday 1st June. I’m sure a lot of people appreciated having this second chance of grabbing the software for free.

But let me get back to the reason for this post.

I don’t know what’s happened at their end but…I almost didn’t believe it! All of a sudden, when I no longer expected it, I’ve received the confirmation email and the instructions to download and register the software.

So, as a matter of justice, I’m registering here that the system finally worked for me and I expect to be another happy user of Delavo very soon. As soon as I download it and manage to install it…

To Me Delavo Was Just A Big, Big…Fiasco!

For about two weeks everybody, his mother, sister and neighborhood have promoted John Delavera’s Delavo ecommerce script. According to the millions of emails and thousands of blog posts, all you had to do to grab this software for free was join the notification list. Not only join: you had to activate your subscription by clicking on a link sent to you by Delavera’s autoresponder service.

If you’ve been online for some time you know by now that not a single one of the big shots gives anything away for free simply for giving, there’s always a catch, one-time-offer, upgrade offer, a s+h fee, subscription offer, and so on…It wouldn’t be any different with John Delavera’s “gift”…

Anyway, out of pure curiosity, I decided to signup for the notification list. That’s when the problems started: I tried once, I tried twice…and nothing happened! My clicking on the submit button ended nowhere! It looked like if they weren’t interested in my email address so nothing happened after I submitted it…so I gave up.

A couple of days later, I had another 50+ email messages on the same subject and I said to myself: “I’m going to give it a go again.” So there I went filling in the form. As previously, it went nowhere on my first try. I tried again and then I’ve got the “successfully signed up” message. I just had to wait for the email with the link to activate my subscription.

Now for the best part: Almost a week has elapsed and I never got an email with the confirmation link!

Now, before anyone tries to put the blame on me, let me clarify a few things:

1. My internet connection is excellent most of the time and my computers are connected 24/7;

2. Almost at the same time I couldn’t sign up at Delavera’s website I was able to sign up for two other offers on different websites;

3. I’ve received the confirmation emails from the other websites. I’ve checked my spam folders. No sign of Delavera’s email. Never.

That’s why I stated above that Delavo was just a big fiasco for me. And the reason is definitely at John Delavera’s end, not at  mine. I’ve done what he’s asked me to do, he didn’t do his part of the deal.

BTW, this is not intended to be a rant, I’m simply registering the fact. Maybe a few people will learn something from it…
